Valentijn grew up immersed in music from a young age. He began to professionally forge his career in his early twenties when he was discovered by DJ Afrojack, who taught him production, spinning, and introduced him to many influential figures in the music industry. From this point on, Valentijn started building an international career, both on and off the stage.
He began by releasing his own songs, including a debut single in collaboration with Armin van Buuren, after which several more collaborations with Armin followed, as well as his own singles like “World We Know”. Behind the scenes, Valentijn tirelessly worked on his craft and expanded his network, writing and producing for many other artists. This led to numerous releases where he was involved, with the most notable being his work on Illenium’s album that won a Billboard Music Award and earned a Grammy nomination.
His prowess and commitment to his craft caught the attention of Harvey Mason Jr., who admired the work Valentijn produced and invited him to collaborate on an exciting, yet-to-be-announced project.
Thus far, Valentijn has reached a combined total of 200 million across all platforms with his music. In the meantime, he has had the opportunity to work on various exciting projects for Disney, ranging from songs to scores. Together with the Velvet Music Group, he is committed to showing the music industry what he and his team of composers can accomplish in the fields of songwriting, production, scoring, and mixing and mastering.
Luc Peters is an accomplished and highly experienced media executive and legal professional in the broadcasting and music industries. He recently took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at David Lewis Productions, where he also plays a key role within the Velvet Music Group, overseeing legal affairs and licensing.
With his prior experience as Chief Operating Officer at SBS Broadcasting, Luc Peters has a proven track record of successfully managing operational policies and implementing strategic projects. During his time at SBS, he led the business management of the program department, responsible for popular channels such as SBS 6, Net5, Veronica, and the digital platform KIJK.
At Velvet Music Group his involvement in legal affairs and licensing brings a comprehensive understanding of intellectual property rights, copyright, and music licensing to the organization. His expertise ensures that Velvet Music Group operates within legal frameworks and effectively navigates the dynamic landscape of music licensing.

Damien Salançon, the musical prodigy who started playing piano at just 9 years old! As a teenager, he added oboe, electric guitar, drums, and synthesizers to his impressive list of instruments. After graduating from high school in his hometown of Montpellier, France, Damien headed to Boston to study film scoring at Berklee College of Music. After graduation, he returned to Paris and honed his skills with the likes of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings orchestrator Conrad Pope and Batman and Inception mixer Alan Meyerson.
Damien’s career took off with composing for TV commercials for big brands like L’Oréal, Mercedes, and McDonalds, and short films. He quickly moved on to arranging and co-composing for established composers on popular TV series like Spirals, Cherif, and Blood of the Vine. In 2013, he wrote the score for the TV movie Les mauvaises têtes, directed by Pierre Isoard, and the music for Disneyland Paris’ 20th anniversary campaign.
From 2015-2022, Damien composed music for numerous radio fiction series, including The truth about Harry Québert’s case, Night milk man, and Beyond Evil’s border. He also wrote the music for the Montessouri education documentary, Let the child be the guide, directed by Alexandre Mourot.
In the movie industry, Damien has arranged and conducted orchestral pieces for movies like We are family, What is this granny?, and What is this grandpa? He even co-composed the score for the French-German animated movie, The fairy princess and the unicorn! With a wealth of experience and talent, Damien is a true force in the music world.
